Marcus Singleton Receives Endorsement From Governor Roy Cooper
Concord, NC - Marcus Singleton, candidate for NC Senate District 36, welcomed the endorsement of North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper.
“I am proud to endorse Marcus Singleton for NC Senate District 36 because Marcus is the kind of servant leader we need in Raleigh,” said Governor Cooper. “Marcus has made a life serving others. From fulfilling his calling as a pastor, to his work as an educator and his time protecting our country in the Army, Marcus has spent his life working on behalf of families like yours and mine. I can’t wait to see what he does in the legislature to fight for what’s best for all of us."

Marcus Singleton is a candidate for North Carolina State Senate District 36. A United Methodist Church pastor and US Army Veteran, Marcus Singleton has made Concord, NC home — with his wife, Rosslyn, and their two sons.
Marcus Singleton spent the past decade as a pastor, seeing first-hand the challenges families face as costs of basic essentials continue to increase while salaries and hourly wages are not keeping up. Singleton earned a Master of Divinity from Howard University. In addition, Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and Bachelor of Science degree in English Education from Bowie State University after serving in the United States Army.
